The variations (or variaciones in Spanish) are the climactic passages that appear at the end of a tango, typically lasting 8 to 16 bars. Defined by their intensity, expressiveness, and unique structure, they give dancers the opportunity to interpret the music with depth and precision.

In this series, we will learn how to identify the coda (variación) and explore how to interpret them with matching energy and musicality, while incorporating turns, sacadas, ganchos, boleos, barridas, and more.
