TUESDAYS
VALS-TANGO Intensive for inter/adv dancers
January 20th - February 24th, Tuesdays at 7 pm
Six classes to spin, twirl, and dive into everything that is tango waltz. Traditional 3/4 figures with a contemporary touch, light and dynamic!
Prerequisite: Tango 5 or equivalent

Authentic Style / New Twists & Dynamics
Milonguero turns and eclectic figures.Traditional dynamics with a contemporary touch, for a tango faithful to authentic style, peppered by new variations.
Prerquisite:Tango 8 OR Tango 7 plus close embrace or Milonguero style, milonguero magic or equivalent. Close embrace experience is necessary

SACADAS BLITZ with Pablo et Noel

Perfect your ''sacada technique'' with these two fabulous maestros and learn to use perfectly timed foot entries to energize turns, and instigate precision pivots for a tango that is powerful and dynamic. For inter-advanced and advanced dancers who have a good knowledge of turns.

Structure, technique, and style – essential elements for executing precise and flowing turns!
Argentine Tango is built on an elegant walk and a variety of turn combinations.
Through targeted exercises, leaders and followers will perfect their turn technique and refine their connection with their partner, improving the fluidity of their turns while exploring varied dynamics and musical variations. For intermediate and advanced dancers.

VARIACIONES with Pancho & Melina
February 5th - 26th, Thursdays at 8:20 pm
The variations (or variaciones in Spanish) are the climactic passages that appear at the end of a tango, typically lasting 8 to 16 bars. Defined by their intensity, expressiveness, and unique structure, they give dancers the opportunity to interpret the music with depth and precision.
In this series, we will learn how to identify the coda (variación) and explore how to interpret them with matching energy and musicality, while incorporating turns, sacadas, ganchos, boleos, barridas, and more.
For advanced couples (upon teacher approval).
