CLASS CARDS are possible for some classes. Create your own schedule by mixing and matching with other classes of the same value. Contact us first to make sure that there is room in the class you’d like to try and if there is . . . well then, there’s no stopping you from mixing it up! (note that some classes require a partner)

VALS-TANGO Intensive for inter/adv dancers
January 20th - February 24th, Tuesdays at 7 pm
Six classes to spin, twirl, and dive into everything that is tango waltz. Traditional 3/4 figures with a contemporary touch, light and dynamic!
Prerequisite: Tango 5 or equivalent

Rebounds and counter (switch) steps.
Small rhythmical figures that use changes of direction and rebounding movements for a dance that is varied, accented and lots of fun ! For inter-advanced and advanced dancers.

DANCING PUGLIESE with Melina & Carol
March 4th - April 1st, Wednesdays at 7 pm
The Pugliese Tangos: Richly coloured, full of contrasts, and sometimes a bit daunting too!
Join us for an all-new series designed to help you rise to the challenge! Participants will gain tools to build confidence in their interpretation skills and learn how to bring the power and energy of the music to life. Slow down and savour every moment with subtle shared-weight and apilado-type mini-movements for greater density and intensity, plus a few new, cool moves to top it all off too!
Prerequiste: Tango 8 or Tango 7 plus a few mini-sessions or equivalent.

Structure, technique, and style – essential elements for executing precise and flowing turns!
Argentine Tango is built on an elegant walk and a variety of turn combinations.
Through targeted exercises, leaders and followers will perfect their turn technique and refine their connection with their partner, improving the fluidity of their turns while exploring varied dynamics and musical variations. For intermediate and advanced dancers.

Are you ready to explore tango from a new perspective? Looking for a little challenge?
Enrich your dance by learning to lead. Rediscover the joy of learning something new (yet familiar!) in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
When Melina discovered how beneficial learning the other role was for her own dancing (in addition to the sheer enjoyment that it provided!), she created a series of workshops called "Take the Lead."
Melina Mistral teaches classes and workshops in Montreal and internationally. Over the past six years, her ''Take the Lead courses'' have gained tremendous popularity in both Canada and the U.S.
For intermediate and advanced followers (pre-requisite Tango 3) with limited or no leading experience.

DECORATIONS for advanced followers

We have a special treat! For the first time - Noel will be giving a new advanced followers workshop on Decorations.
Bring your tango shoes and comfortable shoes or socks.
Prerequisite: for inter-advanced and advanced followers (suggested level Tango 6 min) who have taken technique classes with Noel.
