A fun, flexible series designed for intermediate and advanced dancers. Add variety, playfulness, and personal flair to your dance by joining us for a creative journey with classes that let you explore, refine, and expand your tango vocabulary. Sign up for the full series, or build your own micro-mini-session.
We'll explore such creative figures such as: Paradas, Ganchos, Calecitas, Decorations and more.

MILONGA : Summer Series

Tuesdays at 7 pm
Milonga 2 (4 classes ) starts on Aug 11th

This summer, flexibility rules!
Take the full session of 8 classes (Milonga 1 & 2) or create your own mini-series of 4 or 6 classes.
Explore the milonga rhythm and musicality, traditional styling and lots of classic figures and variations. Prerequisite: Tango 2

• Milonga 1 (4 classes) starts on July 14th

• Milonga 2 (4 classes ) starts on Aug 11th

As each teacher creates their own unique syllabus, there’s always something new to explore - even for those who’ve taken milonga before. We’ll take an in-depth look at:

• The distinct milonga rhythm and musicality
• Traditional styling
• Classic figures

If you’ve already taken milonga classes, you’re welcome to join at any time and put together your own personalized series of 4 or 6 classes, depending on your schedule and partner availability.
If it’s your first time taking a milonga class, you must start with the first class or take private lessons to cover the basics.

CLassic SALON-TANGO with Tomas Howlin

The definition of Tango Elegance & Sophistication

Salon Style Tango originated during Tango's Golden Age (1930s-1950s). Known for its smooth walk, expressive musicality, and graceful movements, it is considered the foundation of most tango taught today.

Tomás had the privilege of studying with and assisting some of the legendary tango masters, several of whom either were dancers themselves during the 40's or had learned directly from dancers of the Golden Age. We’re incredibly fortunate that he’s agreed to share some of their precious secrets with us.

Tomas will teach some classes with the studio teachers, and some with special guests from BA who will be in town over some of the Wednesdays!

Prerequisite: Tango 8 or Tango 7 plus a few mini-sessions

VALS-TANGO: The summer session!

PIVOTS & SPIRALS 

August 6 & 13th, Thursdays at 6:45 pm
Intensive 2-class series (2 classes x 1h30)

Taught by Noel and Marika (two exceptional tangueras), this brand-new seminar is designed to help refine movements such as spirals, pivots, and other dissociation techniques, all essential for both leaders and followers. Learn to execute these movements with greater precision to improve connection with your partner and develop a dance that is fluid, elegant, and full of finesse.

For intermediate and advanced dancers.

This is a partner tango class (not an individual technique class). Registration is limited to maintain an equal number of leaders and followers. Reserve your spot early!

DYNAMIC ENERGY & CONTRASTS with Melina & Pancho

An all-new 3-class mini-session designed to help transform your tango by incorporating changes of dynamics, well-placed contrasts, and subtle nuances. Bring life, depth, and creativity to your dance with intentional pauses, accelerations, and expressive suspensions. A few new snazzy figures too!
