A fun, flexible series designed for intermediate and advanced dancers. Add variety, playfulness, and personal flair to your dance by joining us for a creative journey with classes that let you explore, refine, and expand your tango vocabulary. Sign up for the full series, or build your own micro-mini-session.
We'll explore such creative figures such as: Paradas, Ganchos, Calecitas, Decorations and more.

Pricing options:

MILONGA : Summer Series

Starting July 14th: Tuesdays at 7 pm

This summer, flexibility rules!
Take the full session of 8 classes (Milonga 1 & 2) or create your own mini-series of 4 or 6 classes.
Explore the milonga rhythm and musicality, traditional styling and lots of classic figures and variations. Prerequisite: Tango 2

• Milonga 1 (4 classes) starts on July 14th

• Milonga 2 (4 classes ) starts on Aug 11th

As each teacher creates their own unique syllabus, there’s always something new to explore - even for those who’ve taken milonga before. We’ll take an in-depth look at:

• The distinct milonga rhythm and musicality
• Traditional styling
• Classic figures

If you’ve already taken milonga classes, you’re welcome to join at any time and put together your own personalized series of 4 or 6 classes, depending on your schedule and partner availability.
If it’s your first time taking a milonga class, you must start with the first class or take private lessons to cover the basics.

TURNS with Mireille & Francis

July 14th - Aug 4th, Tuesdays at 8:20 pm

Structure, technique, and style – essential elements for executing precise and flowing turns!
Argentine Tango is built on an elegant walk and a variety of turn combinations.

Through targeted exercises, leaders and followers will perfect their turn technique and refine their connection with their partner, improving the fluidity of their turns while exploring varied dynamics and musical variations.  For intermediate and advanced dancers.

FOOT-GAMES with Pablo and Noel!

July 8th - 22nd, Wednesdays at 7 pm

Leg sweeps, barridas, arrastres, tomas & foot drags. Variations for inter-advanced and advanced dancers who've already completed a Barridas series.

Suggested prerequisite: Tango 7 + barridas or equivalent

VALS-TANGO: The summer session!

August 5th - September 2nd, Wednesdays at 8:20 pm

Join us for a brand-new Vals session!
Come dance, have fun, and soak up that summer energy!
5 Wednesdays of turning, swirling, and diving into all things waltz-tango. Traditional 3/4 figures with a modern twist - light and breezy like summer itself!

DECORATIONS for advanced followers
with Noel Strazza

THURSDAYS, July 9th, 16th and 23rd at 7 pm

We have a special treat! For the first time - Noel will be giving a new advanced followers workshop on Decorations.
Bring your tango shoes and comfortable shoes or socks.

Prerequisite: for inter-advanced and advanced followers (suggested level Tango 6 min)
NOTE to have taken technique classes with Noel is a prerequisite.

MUSICAL PHRASING with Jay Abling

July 9th & 16th: Thursdays at 8:20 pm

What makes a tango dancer more “musical”? Not only a keen rhythmical sense, but the ability to hear and dance the phrases of the music. Jay has designed this class to give intermediate and advanced dancers the tools necessary to interpret the music with confidence, clarity, and creativity.  Build a better connection with your partner via a shared musical interpretation!

Jay Abling is a  US based tango teacher and dj.  He trained as a classical vocalist and pianist and has a background in choral conducting.

Suggested prerequisite: Tango 6 or equivalent
