Improve your posture, strength, balance and flexibility in these classes, which focus on postural alignment and the benefits of the exercises for tango… and for life! We use props to make the poses accessible to everyone. No previous experience is required. Taught by Andrea Shepherd, certified yoga instructor (500+ hours of teacher training).
Class will be done in bare feet - bring your own yoga mat if you have! (we do hava a few we can lend out for those who do not have)

SPECIAL SERIES for inter-advanced and advanced dancers
with Pablo Veron
What a treat! A 4-week series with guest maestro, Pablo Veron! For this series, we are giving Pablo carte blanche to focus on what he feels is most relevant for the group, whether it be figures inspired by his teachers, elements characteristic of his style, technical aspects to improve our dancing, or concepts to stimulate our creativity... there are no limits! The opportunity to study with Pablo for a four-week series doesn’t come around very often. Don’t miss out! This class is sure to fill up quickly.
* Note that classes start at 6:30 because Pablo’s classes ALWAYS go overtime. We hope that by starting at 6:30 we’ll finish by the time the milonga starts at 8:20 pm
Prerequisite:
Tango 8 or Tango 7 plus a year of experience & mini-sessions or equivalent

Enhance and refine your tango while boosting creativity with subtle nuances, new and unexpected variations and lots of tanguero style.
* Prerequisite: Usually a year or more of experience after completing Tango 7 is recommended, though this can vary greatly depending on the individual. Less time may be sufficient for those who dance and practice multiple times each week, while others may benefit from additional practice or classes before moving on to Tango 8. Acceptance is subject to teacher approval.

Enrich your dance by learning to lead. Rediscover the joy of learning something new (yet familiar!) in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
When Melina discovered how much learning the other role enriched her own dancing (as well as how much she enjoyed it!), she created a series of workshops called "Take the Lead." Over the past seven years, her "Take the Lead" courses have gained tremendous popularity in both Canada and the U.S.
For intermediate and advanced followers (prerequisite: Tango 3).
Already lead a little? You can join anytime! Never led before? Start with the first class, or take a short private lesson with Melina to learn a few basics before joining the group.
Pay per class 32$, or save with a 4 or 8-class card.

We're thrilled to present this brand-new session designed by Pablo and Noel to help intermediate and advanced dancers explore the different structures of this very essential element of the Argentine tango. Deepen your understanding of turns and discover the many possibilities they offer to enrich your dance.
