Pablo Veron, the dancer's dancer, the star of the movie The Tango Lesson, of the show Tango Argentino, as well as of countless other productions . . . the inspiration for many of us and the very reason why many of our teachers began dancing in the first place, is thrilled to be back teaching in Montreal.
Veron is the creator of a unique style that has won him the respect of tango dancers worldwide. Heir to the tradition of the great Argentine masters and an innovator of unparalleled creative force, Pablo’s dancing is a true link between the old and new generations. Graceful and precise with an incredibly fluid yet dynamic style, he is recognized for being pivotal in regards to the re-birth of the popularity of this dance and is considered by many of his peers to be one of the greatest talents in the history of the tango.
Proud to share his expertise, Pablo travels constantly, teaching tango worldwide. He adores Montreal and has taught numerous workshops at Studio Tango Montréal since our opening in 1997. We are honoured to welcome him once again March!

CLASS LEVELS & DESCRIPTIONS

We have chosen to give titles to only a few of the classes on the schedule (we picked some of our favourite Veron themes). Pablo will choose the themes for the other classes on the program - he would like to have the freedom to present to us what he feels is best for the group on hand. No worries, this does not mean that classes will be disorganised nor chaotic. Pablo structures his classes ''like no other'', he has years and years and years of teaching experience, and presents his material in a very logical manner - able to show us how to build from a simple notion to something intricate in a way that ''makes sense''.
New material will be presented in each class. There will be something for everyone . . . for those who’ve taken workshops with Pablo before and for those for whom it is their very first time.
CLASSES for INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED LEVEL
Generally in intermediate-advanced classes, Pablo teaches a combination of the techniques necessary for comfortable connected dancing, organic and fluid approaches to improving the dance experience as well as elegant, useful steps for the dance floor. He'll probably integrate a few familiar figures but show us how to execute them in a very new way. The minimum pre-requisites are posted, however. dvanced dancers can certainly benefit from classes of ALL classes no matter what the indicated pre-requisite.
If you are not sure about your level and how it corresponds to this workshop and the pre-requisites listed, then please contact us (send us a brief description of your tango experience—where you took classes and for how long) it will be our pleasure to help you out.
THE CLASSES for ADVANCED DANCERS only
An advanced dancer's experience can vary greatly from one person to the next. Content in the advanced classes is intended for dancers with multiple years of class and workshop experience, who practice and who go out dancing often, who can execute complex figures and have a good understanding of the technique associated with them. ADVANCED DANCERS should note that the technique and mechanics that Pablo teaches in the lower level classes are of the up most importance to dancers of ALL levels, and especially relevant for those who intend to take the more advanced classes on the program. If you are an experienced dancer and this be your first workshop with Pablo, then we encourage you to also register for some of the lower level classes. This will allow you to better understand Pablo’s technique and method and will enable you to get the most out of his classes.
CLASSES WILL BE ROLE BALANCED
Singles are permitted to register, however, as we can only accept an equal number of leaders and follows, singles will be put on waiting lists until to we can confirm their spots. We prefer when possible that advanced participants register with a partner as working with a dependable partner can greatly enhance the experience.
